From the handprints left by the first people on the cave wall for thousands of years, art has always developed with the vision of the artists. All those magnificent, sophisticated ideas, aesthetic elements or sometimes abstract thoughts transformed society with itself by transforming art into completely different forms. Today, thanks to blockchain and NFT technology, the doors of a new era are opening for art. And besides being the first witnesses of the digital transformation of art, we are also pioneers entering through this door. I truly believe that as the first artists to walk on this path, we will one day be remembered as those who liberate “High Art”, which only appeals to a elite group.
As a digital artist and writer who produces works in this magnificent community, I am looking for new ways to touch, communicate and change the society, while we all try to communicate with different styles of art. I am trying to create a more holistic experience by using painting and literature together in the Life On A Rock collection I have created within this framework. I try to reflect the individual’s endless struggle with life along with its existential dilemmas in abstract works that I create using simple shapes. For each work, I also create some fictions on this struggle and dilemmas in the literary texts I have written specifically.
This entire collection will consist of 4 works in total per year, with a single work in each quarter of the year, and will continue in the same way every year. Each work will be unique and the text written specifically for the art work will be published on this medium channel when the work goes on sale. You can find the text of the work by comparing the unique name tag in the description section of the work with the tag written just below the title. Thus, the owner of the work will become also the owner of a story written specifically for the work in a sense.
I am proud to be able to witness the beginning of this new age and to be in this magnificent community of pioneers. I hope that this way the healing power of art reaches all humanity.
